There are many avocado recipes to choose from and avocado also features in a lot of grilled vegetable recipes. When making grilled vegetable dishes, the griddle marks look very attractive, no matter which vegetables you are grilling. This is an ideal recipe for outdoor grilled vegetables and you can be as creative as you like with the fillings.

Ingredients -
3 large ripe avocados
Toppings:
Choose from ½ cup salsa, grated cheese, cured ham, marie rose sauce, grilled baby tomatoes or a combination of these.
3 tablespoons lemon or limejuice
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Seasoned salt to taste
Preparation:
Preheat the grill to medium.
Cut one avocado in half. Remove the seed. Cut the other two avocados into slices. Drizzle all the avocado pieces with lemon or limejuice and brush with olive oil.
Place the avocado slices on the grill and cook for 2 minutes each side.
Place the 2 half shells on the grill and cook for 2 or 3 minutes.
Season with salt to taste.
Fill the avocado halves with salsa or any other ingredients you like, such as cured ham, a grilled baby tomato, grated cheese or Marie rose sauce.
