This delicious tarragon butter recipe features Dijon mustard as well as fresh, aromatic tarragon.
Ingredients -
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
Preparation:
Mix all the ingredients together using a fork or handheld blender, then spoon the tarragon butter on to plastic wrap and shape it like a sausage.
Wrap it tightly and chill until firm.
If you want to keep it for longer, wrap it a second time in foil.
To use the tarragon butter as a sauce, slice off a disk and melt it on hot food.
For using as a spread, let it warm to room temperature and serve with your favorite grilled vegetables recipe.
