Easy marinades do not get much easier than this beautiful and aromatic tandoori spice yogurt marinade. If you want to add a taste of India to your grilled vegetables, this combination of yogurt, garlic, and spices including coriander, ginger and cumin will maximize the flavor of every vegetable perfectly.
You can serve the marinated vegetables alongside meat or fish or simply by themselves for a healthy vegetarian meal. Ingredients -
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon garam masala
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
Preparation:
Mix all the marinade ingredients together with a wire whisk and set aside while you prepare your vegetables.Toss vegetables well in marinade to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for up to a couple hours if desired.
