Honey and Dijon Mustard Marinade

Marinades can be used for meat, fish and vegetables. Since vegetables have a delicate flavor, a good marinade can really liven them up. Marinating times vary but an hour is long enough for most marinades. This honey Dijon mustard recipe has a kick because of the Tabasco and goes with any combination of vegetables.

It also makes a great marinade for cod or pork. Dijon mustard is light in color and strong in flavor and is by far the best type of mustard to use in this marinade recipe. Dijon mustard also comes in different flavors, such as fruit flavor.

Pure Honey and Dijon Mustard blend to Form This Marinade

Ingredients -

1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
1 tablespoons Honey
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation:

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well.

In casserole dish pour marinade over vegetables of choice and refrigerate for at least one hour. Grill vegetables over medium heat.
